Brainspotting

Brainspotting, discovered by Dr. David Grand, is a neurobiological and relational process -"where you look affects how you feel". Brainspotting finds spots where people look that connects to parts of the brain that in turn connect to parts of our nervous system in our body where trauma is "stored". By accessing these spots in our brain we can focus, process, and release many body based and emotional experiences.
Brainspotting can be a part of our regular therapy work or used for 1 to 3 sessions for a specific issue.
Brainspotting is also a great option if you're already working with another therapist and want to have additional support in your healing path.
Brainspotting is great for single issues or symptom reduction.
For example:
-
test anxiety
-
PSTD symptom reduction
